Special Precautions
The application of steroid medicines can result in deceleration in the system's output of natural steroids and a deficiency of them when the medicine is discontinued. To decrease the possibility of this trouble, apply Ultravate (Halobetasol propionate) for not more than 2 weeks simultaneously, and rub it merely to the affected areas.
When applied on teenagers, steroid-based creams and ointments like Ultravate have been identified to hinder growth and increase force within the skull, leading to headaches, bumps on the head, and passing of eyesight. Ultravate is not indicated for children below the age of 12.
